William “Bill” Snyder is inspirational not only as a Lutheran preacher, but also as an exceptional individual.

Bill lost both legs to chronic diabetes almost two years ago, but that hasn’t slowed him down one bit. He uses prosthetic limbs and a cane to get everywhere, from volunteering at DeGraff Memorial Hospital to spending time with his seven grandchildren.

At DeGraff Hospital, located in North Tonawanda, Bill comforts and encourages patients who are in rehabilitation. He speaks with and motivates people recovering from ailments such as hip surgery and strokes.

Back at home, Bill keeps busy on his computer. He has even written a religious book.

It looks like nothing can slow down Bill Snyder!
