Niagara Lutheran Home & Rehabilitation Center Helps Resident Celebrate
100th Birthday
On March 7, 1999, at 2:00 p.m., family, friends and the staff of Niagara Lutheran Home
& Rehabilitation Center gathered together to celebrate Louise Millers 100th
birthday. The party was arranged by Mrs. Millers long-time neighborhood friend
Florence Jeraci, of Hamburg and held in the Schneider Room of Niagara Lutheran Home &
Rehabilitation Center located at 64 Hager Street in Buffalo.
Born in Buffalo in 1899, Mrs. Miller worked for many years at Hengerers Department
Store making custom draperies. She and her husband, who worked in the Advertising
Department of the Buffalo News, raised three sons, now all deceased.
Mrs. Miller received a proclamation from Congressman Jack Quinn honoring her. Joining the
celebration on March 7th were her two grandsons, Mr. Robert G. Miller of Seffner, Florida;
Mr. William Miller of Buffalo; and Ms. Roberta Richeal, her niece, as well as
approximately 30 other friends and family members.
