Kristina M. Young typifies an energetic and multi-faceted professional. She is owner of Kristina M. Young & Associates, a consulting and training firm and also directs UBs Healthcare Careers Center, dedicated to assisting organizations to meet the challenges of todays changing environment.
Throughout her career she has sustained concurrent roles in executive management, teaching and authorship. She is a clinical assistant professor at UBs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and taught for several years at the UB School of Management. Kristina is co-author of the best-selling university text, Healthcare USA, Understanding its Organization and Delivery.
Her community service has included the boards of directors of Church Mission of Help, the Visiting Nurses Association and Coordinated Care Management Corporation.
She currently serves on the boards of St. Marys School for the Deaf and Child & Family Services. She is a past recipient of UBs Community Service Award for Outstanding Woman of the Year in Medicine, The Joan A. Levine Award for Community Service to Women and a NY State Legislative Citation for community service.
