Armed with a BA in Industrial Arts Education and a dream, it took Paul Lamparelli less than 10 years to establish his own construction firm with his own ideas about running it. Born in Buffalo in 1960, it was at Buffalo State College that roots for his ideas took shape, leading him to explore the field with further education at Erie Community College, then 3 years of field experience with the City of Buffalo. It was here that Paul learned the ins and outs of building and demolition permits and zoning, before taking position with Jacobi Development, where he worked for 9 years as Vice President.

While at Jacobi Development, Paul assumed overall operations responsibilities of the construction department, and honed his skills as an estimator and contract negotiator. All these were the groundwork that made Lamparelli Construction possible.
As President of his own firm, Paul proudly admits his hands-on skills, knowledge of every phase of the projects Lamparelli Construction Co., Inc., has contracted. From budgeting to scheduling, estimating to consulting, he oversees the daily operations of the company that bears his name.

As any entrepreneur will tell you, though, it’s not enough. Paul reaches into the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the YMCA, as a member of the Merit Alliance as well as the Better Business Bureau. With membership in the Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce, National Federation of Independent Business, and the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., there’s only just enough time left over to enjoy biking, swimming, and married life with two children.
