Keeping scents forever young is what William Tolhurst does best. As a well-know bloodhound
trainer and storyteller his work on criminal investigations in Niagara County is
interesting stuff. Internationally acclaimed for his work in forensics, working with
scents and dogs and cracking difficult cases, hes what most would call
low-key, nonetheless.
Best known for his work withand as an authority onman-trailing bloodhounds,
Bill has authored four books and videos on the subject. His awards in the field are
impressive - as are his appearances on TV shows. Among his many achievements in a long and
productive career are scent-gathering devices that were the first of their kind and were
instrumental in closing crime investigations that had otherwise evaded resolution.
His 78 years dont slow him down in the least. Hes working now on an immediate
response information network to assist investigations into abductions and missing persons
(kids, adults, Alzheimers patients, etc.).
