Dawn Resak was recently named the Director of Rehabilitation Services at GreenField Health
and Rehabilitation Center in Lancaster, NY. Born in Syracuse, Dawn received a Bachelors
degree in Physical Therapy in 1981 and a Master of Business Administration degree from
Canisius College in 1990.
Since 1981 Dawn has worked as a Physical Therapist in a variety of
settings, such as sub acute rehab, home care, long term care, school settings and the
outpatient arena with persons from early intervention to geriatric population.
Dawn has also worked in management as a clinic administrator for the West
Seneca Developmental Disabilities Service Office and Director of Rehabilitation for
another sub-acute facility in Western New York. She has developed skills in system
analysis and as a trained facilitator.
Dawn is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and an
active volunteer for the Red Cross Disaster Assistance Team. She also volunteered time to
the World University Games in 1993.
In her spare time Dawn enjoys all sports as a spectator and as a participant, outdoor sports such as hiking, biking and kayaking.
