Dawn Harsch is the Communications Director for the McGuire Group Health
Care Facilities where she has been employed for over six years. In this capacity she
coordinates the marketing and public relations efforts for eight nursing and
rehabilitation centers.
She is a 1992 graduate of Buffalo State College, where she received a
bachelors degree with honors in public communications.
In addition to her responsibilities at the McGuire Group, Dawn is very
active on many committees including her recent role as co-chair of the 1998 Memory Walk
benefiting the Alzheimers Association of WNY. In November of 1998 she was presented
with the 1998 Community Service Award at the Associations annual meeting.
Dawn serves as the public relations chair for the Buffalo Philharmonic
Womens Committee and was honored in 1997 as Volunteer of the Year. She is a member
of the Public Relations Society of America and supports many animal organizations
including the SPCA, ASPCA, PETA and the Humane Society of the United States.
She has resided in Akron with her husband Jack for the past six years.
