Emil K. Everett, founder and President of Emil Everett - Investment Advisor, L.L.C. &
President of Emil A. Kratzer Co., Inc., is a native of Buffalo and 31-year resident of the
Town of Amherst.
Williamsville South High School prepared him for his undergraduate studies
at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio where he was place-kicker for the Ohio
Athletic Conference Champions. He holds an M.B.A. degree from Northeastern University,
Boston, Massachusetts, and pursued additional graduate studies in business at Harvard
University. Emils business career has included domestic and international banking
responsibilities at Marine Midland Bank (HSBC) and Royal Bank of Canada.
Emil returned to Western New York to found his investment company in
Amherst and to actively pursue his lifelong dedication to Buffalo and Erie County.
Adhering to his familys tradition of service to community, state and nation, his
activities include the teaching of Dale Carnegie courses and serving as First Vice
President of the Buffalo Bills Monday Quarterback Club, a duty made extra-enjoyable as an
alumnus of the Bills rookie-class of 1985. He serves on the Board of the Amherst Symphony
Orchestra and is a member of the Sons of the American Revolution.
The departure of two older brothers, Jim, attorney in Albany and
Washington, and Bob, investments in Boston, has increased Emils determination to
contribute to the retention of WNYs wealth of youthful talent and to create or
attract new enterprises to the region.
Diversions from his business and community duties include skiing, golf and scuba-diving.
